Catalyst League

Catalyst was RuneScape 3's first ever League: a 57-day seasonal mode that brought the fresh-start, task-and-relic formula from Old School to the main game.

How points worked

• Easy tasks: 10 points
• Medium tasks: 30 points
• Hard tasks: 80 points
• Elite tasks: 200 points
• Master tasks: 400 points

Seven relic tiers unlocked at thresholds from 10 up to 22,000 points, with the global XP multiplier scaling from 4x at the start to 16x at the top tier. Browse the full task list (1,117 tasks) and every relic tier.

The sequel, the Equilibrium League, starts 10 August 2026. It is free-to-play for the first time, with region unlocks gated by task count instead of skill levels.
